There are more than 7000 islands in the Caribbean Sea. Caribbean cruises are usually destination intensive, with three to five ports in one week, depending on whether the cruise begins: in Florida, USA or in Caribbean ports such as Barbados, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, Dominican Republic, Martinique or other ports.
Caribbean cruises are available the whole year with Carnival Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises, from November to March-April there are available cruises on all other cruise lines too.
June to November is the official Caribbean-Atlantic hurricane season, cruise ships can change course to avoid weather problems, which also means a change of itinerary.
The best time to visit is from December to May. The Caribbean region is divided into three parts: Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean.
The islands provide a great choice of water sports, sandy beaches and crystal clear water, some islands also have a mix of colonial architecture.

TIP! You can discover Caribbean islands with one of the World’s largest cruise ships: Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas or Symphony of the Seas owned by Royal Caribbean International.
