Cruise lines represented by Baltic GSA are set to expand their fleets significantly, with 21 brand-new cruise ships scheduled for delivery by the end of 2028. These state-of-the-art vessels are being built at prestigious European shipyards in Finland, France, Italy and Germany.

2024: Was a Year of Landmark Arrivals

This year has already marked the delivery of five groundbreaking ships, showcasing some of the most innovative and luxurious features in the cruise industry:

 

Looking Ahead: Highlights for 2025

2025 promises even more excitement with the launch of several eagerly anticipated ships:

  • MSC World America, launching in April 2025, will accommodate 5,400 guests and offer an unparalleled cruising experience in the Caribbean—a sister ship to MSC World Europa.
  • Norwegian Aqua, designed for 3,571 passengers, will feature cutting-edge amenities and entertainment options, also setting sail in April 2025.
  • Royal Caribbean is expanding its fleet with another mega-ship, Star of the Seas, designed for 5,610 passengers, launching in August 2025.
  • Star Princess, debuting in Q3 2025, will welcome 4,300 guests on itineraries through Europe and the Caribbean.

 

Exciting Additions for 2026 and Beyond

Looking further ahead, the years 2026–2028 will see the introduction of even more innovative and luxurious ships across various cruise lines:

  • Explora III, part of the Explora Journeys fleet, will join the ultra-luxury line-up in 2026, with space for 922 guests.
  • MSC World Asia, launching in 2026, will bring the MSC World-class experience to the Asian market, accommodating 5,400 guests.
  • Royal Caribbean has additional unnamed ships planned for 2026, 2027, and 2028, each designed for 5,610+ passengers, further solidifying its leadership in the mega-ship category.
  • Carnival will also introduce new ships in 2027 and 2028, each accommodating 5,400 guests, blending thrilling entertainment with modern sustainability features.
