Make the most of the opportunities offered by the Middle East & Dubai Cruises! Luxury, opulence, gentle sun rays, and impressive architecture – all of this and more await you if you choose to extend your summer in the Emirates.

The Warmest and Most Peaceful Seas

Cruises in the UAE and Dubai take place in two of the sunniest and calmest waterways in the world – the Persian Gulf and separate routes in the Red Sea.

From Short Breaks to Full-Fledged Vacations

In the Middle East cruises, you can enjoy the relaxation options offered by cruise ships and explore ancient port cities. Depending on the cruise route, you can get to know the cultural diversity and traditions in countries such as:

  • United Arab Emirates
  • Oman
  • Kuwait
  • Bahrain
  • Qatar
  • Egypt
  • Saudi Arabia

Furthermore, you have the option to combine the cruise with additional days before or after the journey to explore this fascinating region more closely.

Five of our partner companies offer cruises in this region: Costa Cruises, MSC Cruises, NCL, Silversea, and Royal Caribbean International.

The starting and ending points of your journey can be either Abu Dhabi or Dubai – choose from more than 220 cruise routes and tailor them to your preferences and interests!

The United Arab Emirates and Dubai Cruises Are Only Available During Our Winter Season

Cruises from Dubai and the UAE take place from October to May, during the European winter season. This is because in the summer (from May to October), the air temperature in this region reaches around 40°C and often even climbs to 48°C, which is not comfortable or sustainable for us northerners. In contrast, during the winter, the air temperatures in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea range from 24°C to 30°C, closely resembling the Baltic’s summer.

What to Expect

Weather

Due to the warm, sunny, and mostly dry weather, Dubai and UAE cruises are very pleasant. The chance of rain is quite low (UAE receives rain for 7-10 days throughout the year).

Attire

Prepare for truly summery days and slightly cooler nights by packing lightweight, loose-fitting, and bright clothing, along with a head covering and comfortable footwear. However, please note that women in the UAE should adhere to local dress traditions – covering their shoulders and legs in full length while wearing non-transparent, long skirts or dresses. Be mindful of clothing rules in mosques as well – for men, it’s long trousers and a shirt with long sleeves; for women, it’s long dresses or skirts, covered shoulders, and headscarves. Before departure, familiarize yourself with the cruise line’s dress code, which can vary from formal to casual, depending on the cruise company.

Payments

You can settle payments in EUR or with a credit card on Costa Cruises and MSC Cruises ships, in USD or with a credit card on NCL and Royal Caribbean International ships, and at the ports, you can use cards or the specific country’s currency.

Allow yourself to be enchanted by the 1001 nights’ experiences offered by United Arab Emirates and Dubai cruises!
